The Comacchio GEO405HT Multipurpose Rotary Rig.
The GEO405HT’s are compact, yet very powerful and hugely capable rotary rigs, equally as capable of both SI work, Geobor-S wireline coring or open hole drilling to depths in the order of 150m bgl.
With a rotary head capable of low speed, high torque; as well as high speed with less torque, the Comacchio GEO405HT is a formidable force capable of progressing boreholes in any geology to depths in excess of 150m using either DTH Hammer, rock roller, drag or PCD bits.. or to diameters of 300mm using hollow and solid stem augers.
Making it more specific to the geotechnical industry, ADP Group’s GEO405HT variant is also fitted with a rig mounted SPT hammer, not only making the process more efficient but also eliminating the requirement to lift the hammer manually – reducing manual handling onsite!
Other systems include overburden casing and wireline coring. Flushing mediums include mud/water re-circulation via the on board 200l/min mud pump, or air flush via an auxiliary compressor.
