Our People

Tom is our Managing Director; Tom’s background is in the Agricultural & Engineering industry, having grown up in the family Agricultural Contracting business.

Day to day responsibilities include the management of company strategy, financial reporting and forecasting, along with business development. Tom assumes overall responsibility for the day-to-day running and general management of ADP Group Ltd, in conjunction with our Contracts Director & Head of Operations.

Josh is our Contracts Director and oversees the delivery of all live contracts, often taking them from tender stage.

Josh works closely with Dave, our Head of Operations, to provide a vital link between our site teams and our Operations team to ensure efficient, safe and professional delivery of projects and services on a day to day basis. Josh acts as a vital link between our Operations team and our Clients’ team.

Josh is also our technical drilling lead and looks after drill mud programmes in conjunction with our Operations Managers.

Dave is Head of Operations at ADP Group.

Dave’s primary role is knitting the daily operation of ADP together to ensure a smooth delivery in all areas. Dave provides support and management to our Operations Managers and Service Manager, and assumes overall responsibility for staff and asset resource.

Dave has been a longstanding member of our team, joining us in 2013 as a second man, before becoming a lead driller in 2015 and achieving promotion to Drilling Manager in 2018, GI Operations Manager in 2022 and Head of Operations in 2023.

Kamil joined ADP in 2012 as a lead GI driller. Kamil’s experience was largely drawn from environmental projects. Since joining ADP, Kamil has drilled every type of borehole that we drill, many, many times.

Kamil has assumed responsibility for nearly every rig that we have had join our fleet, for its commissioning period, and often for a year or two afterwards. Rigs’ that have previously been under Kamil’s charge include Comacchio GEO305’s. 405’s, 602’s and our GEO909GT!

In 2021 Kamil was promoted to drilling supervisor and in 2022 he assumed the position of GSHP/Renewables Operations Manager.

As plant & workshop manager, Craig is responsible for all things mechanical. If it moves when it shouldn’t, or doesn’t when it should, then Craig is your man. Craig provides a vital link between our field team, operations team and supply chain to ensure that all equipment is fit, healthy and well maintained.

Equipment breaks down, and when it does, Craig’s manufacturer training combined with his experience and knowledge of our fleet of vehicles and equipment ensures that downtime is kept to a minimum.

Before his move in to the drilling industry, Craig worked with military equipment for the MOD.

Lucy is our Office Manager and assumes overall responsibility for our administration team. Nothing happens at ADP HQ without Lucy knowing about it first!

Lucy is responsible for the ordering of parts, materials and hired in plant for our field teams, live projects and our workshop. Lucy also manages the production and delivery of pre-works SHE packs, issued to clients as part of our job planning stage.

Sally is our Company Secretary; Sally’s background and experience is mainly within credit control and accounts admin, alongside the running and day-to-day management of small offices.

Sally joined the family firm in January 2012 to assist with accounts and credit control, before being made company secretary.

Sally’s primary responsibilities now include HR, PAYE, pensions & wages.

Sarah started work at ADP Group in Summer ’19 and assumes responsibility for all accounts payable matters, ensuring that our fantastic supply chain are paid in a timely manner each month and managing all bookkeeping.

Like most of us here at ADP Group, Sarah is dynamic in her approach to her daily responsibilities- helping whichever team needs her assistance the most!

The office environment was new to Sarah in 2019, who came to us from a background in equine care, having previously taken care of event and sport horses- naturally Sarah therefore also assumes responsibility for all office pets and mascots, in a bid to keep her hand in!

Jake is our Survey Director; Jake joined ADP Group in early 2011 as a Senior Land & Utility Surveyor, since this time he has worked on a countless number of sites throughout the UK and France.

At the start of 2013 Jake was made division manager responsible for surveying, responsibilities include quoting, invoicing, CAD processing, logistics and planning of jobs as well as management of ADP Group surveyors; all whilst still often being onsite! In September 2014 Jake was made Survey Director.

Adrian is our founder and remains a Director; Adrian has been involved in the World of contracting and machinery sales for the past 30+ years; having founded, developed and managed what is now ADP Group Ltd, since 1983 as a sole trader and then as a partnership, prior to making it a limited company in 2007.

Historically Adrian’s background has been within the Agricultural and Civil Engineering industries before diversification in 2006 saw the company move into its current field.

Sue is our Financial Director; Sue has been involved in ADP Group Ltd since its inception (in its previous form) in 1984, having been a founding partner before ADP Group became a limited business in 2007.

Sue’s responsibilities include:

• Credit Control
• VAT & Taxation
• Sales Ledger

Sarah is usually the first person you will speak to when you ring our Gloucestershire base.

Alongside reception duties, Sarah also looks after all PPE, training, hotels, approved suppliers and working hours; both our railway work and the time our teams spend working and driving needs closely monitoring, to ensure their wellbeing at all times- Sarah monitors the software that tracks these hours.

Whilst not otherwise engaged with the above responsibilities, Sarah also helps our busy teams out with their administration.
